
Bell, Telus Network Suffering Outage in Atlantic Canada for Wireless, TV, Phone [u]
Bell and Telus customers are suffering a major network outage right now in Atlantic Canada, as users are reporting cellphones, Internet, TV and phone lines are down. Virgin and Koodo customers are affected as well.
According to outage maps at Canadian Outage, Bell customers are reporting outages in Halifax, Toronto, St. John’s, Dartmouth, Moncton, Ottawa, Saint John, Fredericton, Mississauga, and Sydney.
Telus customers are reporting outages in Halifax, Vancouver, Edmonton, Dartmouth, St. John’s, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Moncton, and Fredericton, but as you can see in the map below, the main area affected is in Atlantic Canada:

Are you currently experiencing an outage with Bell and Telus in Atlantic Canada? Both companies share a wireless network so when one goes down, it’ll affect the other and vice versa.
Update: the outage is over as service was restored around noon PDT/3PM EDT
