Apple Features Back to School Apps for Shopping and the Classroom

Apple has featured a couple new sections in the App Store to highlight apps for the upcoming back to school season.

One section is titled “Back to school shopping” and features apps such as the Apple Store (obviously), Indigo, Staples, Best Buy, Joe Fresh, Aldo, Walmart Canada, Zulily, Amazon, The Children’s Place, VarageSale, eBay, Lululemon, Frank + Oak, MEC, IKEA, The Home Depot, Ebates Canada and Zara.

The other section is titled “Ready for the classroom” and highlights 26 apps geared towards learning, such as TinyTap, Slice Fractions, Barefoot World Atlas, Squiggle Park, The Human Body and more. Another learning app being featured by Apple is Quizlet, which lets you make flashcards for your classes.

Apple’s current 2017 Back to School promo offers a free pair of Beats Wireless headphones with eligible Mac and iPad Pro purchases.
