iOS 11 Beta 6 Download Out, Plus New macOS 10.13, watchOS 4, tvOS 11 Betas

Apple has just released the sixth betas of its mobile and desktop operating systems for developers. Here’s what’s new:

  • macOS High Sierra 10.13 beta 6 (17A344b)
  • iOS 11 beta 6 (15A5354b)
  • watchOS 4 beta 6 (15R5357b)
  • tvOS 11 beta 6 (15J5360b)

The release comes one week after beta five versions were made available, which saw over 90 changes in iOS 11, which included the addition of a Siri voice for Canadian French and more.

We’re close to the public release of iOS 11, as Apple is expected to hold a fall event to announce its ‘iPhone 8’.

Last year, iOS 10 saw eight beta releases before the final build was released, so if history repeats itself, we should see a final release by the end of August or early September.

Stay tuned as we’ll keep you updated on what’s new in this latest beta release for iOS 11.

It’s definitely pretty cool but saying goodbye to apps I love but sadly aren’t compatible isn’t going to be easy

I don’t have any 32-bit apps that I use regularly, but I do have a few camera apps that I don’t want to say goodbye to as they contain photos that I’ve taken with them. I guess I should go through and back up all of those photos before I upgrade. I prefer to keep them in each app though, as I find it’s easier to find photos as that way since I typically remember which app I took the photo in.
