Bell Is Dumping Copper and the CRTC Isn’t Watching Medical Alert Landlines
A 102-year-old Toronto man spent hours on his stoop after his Bell landline died. The Star says a faulty copper connector was to blame, with fibre coming this fall.
Bell has launched 15% off CraveTV subscriptions for six months, as part of a promotion to debut their exclusive Star Trek library.

The promotion is only available “for a limited time”. If you can setup a subscription with your discounted iTunes account balance, then you’ll be saving even more.

How does this affect the one-month trial? Has anyone tried to order through Apple TV?
I haven’t ordered through Apple TV, but I did sign up for this deal on the website and you still get the 1 month free trial. They tell you that you won’t be billed the ~$40 until after your month free trial ends. So, essentially you get 7 months for this price.
Lots of good content to watch for a few months. Depends how much they continue to add if it’d be worth continuing on once the 7 months are up.
Cool. I notice ordering through Apple TV it only allows the one-month subscription model though. Since I always stock up on iTunes cards at 20% off, it’s actually cheaper to just subscribe per month at $8 and pay through iTunes.
