watchOS 4.0.1 Released, Fixes Apple Watch Series 3 LTE Bug
A couple weeks ago when Apple Watch Series 3 cellular reviews were published by select media outlets, reviewers noted a bug caused the watch to fail to connect to LTE networks, but rather hang onto unknown Wi-Fi networks instead.

Apple promised a fixed was coming, and now it is here as watchOS 4.0.1 has been released via an over-the-air update, build 15R654, for 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch Series 3 LTE owners. The release comes two weeks after watchOS 4 was first released.
To update your Apple Watch Series 3 LTE, on your iPhone, launch the Apple Watch iOS app, then go to:
General > Software Update
The update will appear over-the-air, where you’ll be able to install it.
Apple Watch Series 3 cellular models start at $519 CAD, with Bell supporting wireless capabilities at launch, but Telus is set to follow shortly with a December 1 launch (they deleted their tweet it seems).

Since iOS 11 Facebook on my Apple Watch doesn’t have an icon when I receive a notification, has that blank tile icon.
Anyone else having this issue, or is it just me? Already factory reset the watch too.
I have the series 2 stainless steel and downgraded to 3.01. With os 4 the exercise circles do not update. Watch was very slow and sluggish in all tasks.
I had the same issue but if you recalibrate the apple watch within the Apple Watch app on the phone. It will work. Once you recalibrate it, go for a 20 min walk that way it can rework itself. Just make sure your location services, cellular, and watch is paired with your phone.
