Apple’s iOS 11 Installed on 52% of Devices, Slightly Slower Adoption Rate Than iOS 10
According to an updated post to Apple’s App Store support page for developers, iOS 11 is now installed on 52 percent of iOS devices.
While that number seems impressive for a mobile operating system that was launched a mere two months ago, iOS 11 is somewhat lagging behind iOS 10. Last year at this time, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that iOS 10 was adopted by 60 percent of devices.

That being said, Apple is still achieving industry-leading adoption rates for their mobile operating system. In comparison, only 0.2 percent of device are running Android Oreo, which is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.

Many people are reporting horrible battery life with iOS 11. It’s slightly better with 11.1.
There’s many other issues as well from people who know what they’re doing and rarely complain.
Comparing the adoption rate to Android is irrelevant. Android is a fragmented operating system. Even if the user wants to upgrade they may not because of the lack device updates or planned obsolescence.
The only reason I am on iOS 11 is you can’t go back to 10.3.3. Same with my brother and another friend.
Add me to that list as well !! 🙁
iOS 11 became stable at 11.1 for me.
Lol 0.2% for the latest Android. That’s lower than the vacancy rate in Vancouver.
There might be a lot of people like myself who own iphone 5
that cannot be upgraded anymore.
Obsolete??? Thid might affect the numbers as well.
