Former Disney CEO Bob Iger has revealed that the company held actual internal conversations regarding a transformational corporate merger with Apple.
Apple Will Reportedly Drop Notch on 2019 iPhone Lineup
According to a report from South Korea’s Electronic Times, Apple will remove the notch from its 2019 iPhone lineup. Even though there are no specifications for the device in the report, the publication said that the screen will “completely fill the front of the new iPhones.”
In order to completely remove the notch, the company would have to position the front-facing camera and the TrueDepth Camera sensor for Face ID behind the display. The report did confirm that the 2019 iPhone will continue to use Face ID.
Considering that we are so far out from a 2019 iPhone launch, it will be a little while longer before we learn anything about Apple’s official plans for their iPhone lineup.
As always, we recommend taking these reports with a grain of salt, especially since they are predicting something so far out in the future. However, if Apple manages to achieve this, it would be a clear breakthrough in the industry and would set the standard for devices that follow.

Make control center easier to access. By far my biggest pet peeve about the notch is how little I use control center now.
Why is the notch affecting you using the Control Centre. Just slide down from the right of the notch. I got used to it.
Hope it’s true. The status bar really suffers in the current design. Might as well put the headphone jack back too. Then we can pretend all this was just a bad dream.
I would say the issue here is that if they get rid of it developers won’t have much incentive to make apps work well on the iPhone X.
The iPhone X kind of reminds me of Windows 8. I don’t like the interface.

It is stored on your iOS device’s Secure Enclave chip and not on the web like Android devices. That is why you have to do the process again on all your devices.

Very true. I have the iPhone X and love it. The notch has status information beside it on both sides.
The notch is ugly especially when watching video. They should get rid of it and replace it with a slim bezel instead with all the sensors in it like Samsung does… That would be much cleaner looking.
