HQ Trivia ‘Friends on HQ’ Feature is Now Available in Canada

Earlier this month, HQ Trivia launched its new ‘Friends on HQ’ feature in the UK, which allows users to follow and add friends within the app.

The company said a U.S. rollout would debut “soon after”, with no mention of Canada, but for Canadian players of HQ Trivia, you’ve probably seen the ‘Friends on HQ’ feature is now live here as well.

The new feature should pop up a splash screen when you open the app. It says “connect with your friends on HQ. See their status during games and share answers in real time to help each other win.”

You can also tap on the ‘add friend’ icon in the top left of the app’s main screen to add your friends on HQ.

Earlier this month, HQ Trivia upped the ante with a huge $300,000 USD giveaway, in a game co-hosted by ‘The Rock’. Meanwhile, today’s 12 noon PDT/3PM EDT game featured guest host Robert De Niro.
