Freedom Mobile Launches Wi-Fi Calling on Select iOS and Android Smartphones

On Friday, Freedom Mobile announced that they have launched Wi-Fi calling on select iOS and Android devices. The carrier made the announcement via a tweet that was sent out on Friday morning.

Wi-Fi Calling is now available on select iPhone and Android devices giving you even more freedom to talk and text…and making it harder to ignore those frequent calls from Mom.

Wi-Fi calling allows users to have even more freedom and reliability when making calls by extending your plan features and coverage to any available Wi-Fi connections.

This feature is extremely useful in places where your cellular signal may be weak, including in basements or in the upper floors of taller buildings.
