
In an announcement on its website, Sony said that it will be shutting down Crackle in Canada on June 28th.

Reactions on Twitter ranged from people being confused to people who were delighted. Some users noted that the Canadian version of Crackle was very limited since it launched. Other users asked Sony why they were shutting down the service only in Canada.
Sony is ending the life of Crackle in Canada as Bell Media launches two new video-on-demand (VOD) services called CTV Movies and CTV Vault. The company offered no direct statement as to why it decided to shut down the service only in Canada.
