“Together with Podcasts and News, and powered by unbiased search, discovery, and recommendations, Web Shows are another great source of high-quality content that learns what you like the more you watch. Check out Web shows across a broad spectrum of categories, including food, home and garden, science and tech, entertainment, pop culture, and more.”

In addition to shows from the big-name brand partners, there will also be a bunch of shows from indie creators like Epic Meal Time, ASAPscience, Household Hacker, People are Awesome, and The Pet Collective. According to Plex, there will be over 19,000 episodes across 67 shows at launch, with more on the way.

Plex also said it has revenue share agreements with some of its partners based on ad sales that Plex manages, although details have not been disclosed.

Access to Web Shows is now live across iOS and other devices through the Plex app, where there’s now a new icon for ‘Web Shows’. The feature is free for all of Plex’s now 19 million registered users and not just Plex Pass subscribers.
