Apple’s US Homepage and Tim Cook Again Commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Today is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States, a federal holiday which honours the American civil rights leader and activist.
Like last year, Apple.com has commemorated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., with a dedicated homepage showing a picture of the civil rights leader, along with the following quote: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is one of Apple CEO Tim Cook’s personal heroes. Today, the CEO tweeted “let us remember our own duty to do good,” adding the following quote from King Jr.: “In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”
