Koodo and Fido Launch $75/10GB Plans with $10/100MB Data Overages
With Rogers, Telus and Bell all simultaneously offering no overage $75/10GB plans, their respective flanker brands have started to debut a similar offering, but without the ‘unlimited’ data.
This morning, Telus debuted new ‘Peace of Mind’ no overage plans starting at $75/10GB (512 kbps throttled speeds after 10GB), along with new 0% interest device financing.
Now, Telus’ flanker brand Koodo has added a $75/10GB plan to their line up, but this does not come with zero overages, rather data overages charged at $10/100MB, or $100/1GB.
The plan includes unlimited Canada-wide minutes and global SMS/MMS, to go with the usual extras like call display, call waiting, voicemail and more.

Rogers flanker brand Fido has similarly launched a $75/10GB plan. The plan includes unlimited Canada-wide minutes and global SMS/MMS, while data overages are similarly billed at $10/100MB, or $100/1GB.

As of writing, Bell’s flanker brand Virgin Mobile has not matched these plans, as it still lists $70/9GB and $80/12GB plans on their website.
Last month, Virgin Mobile was offering a $75/10GB BYOD loyalty plan to some customers, so it’s most likely just a matter of time before it matches its rivals Koodo and Virgin.
Thanks everyone
