Less than a month before Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Note 10 at its Unpacked event, press renders of the upcoming smartphone lineup have leaked online.
The images, posted by leaker @ishangarwal24 on Twitter, show front, back, and side views of the Galaxy Note 10 in two colours: a silver-purple-blue gradient reminiscent of a Huawei colour scheme, and a solid black. The silver variant of the phone, which sports a brilliant gradient finish, is shown alongside a blue S Pen. The more understated black model is seen flaunting a glossy black finish, and it will reportedly be accompanied by a stylus of the same colour.
As one expects from a Samsung Note device, the Galaxy Note 10 has a rectangular shape with sharp corners, which looks a little bolder compared to the curved and sleek look of the Galaxy S10. The face of the Galaxy Note 10 is all display with bezels that look incredibly thin; there is no doubt that the Note 10 will offer the slimmest bezels yet for the series. Also obvious is the punch-hole cutout centred on the top.
The absence of a physical fingerprint sensor makes it almost certain that the Galaxy Note 10 will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, just like the Galaxy S10.
The back of the Galaxy Note 10 ditches Samsung’s horizontal camera layout for a vertical oval reminiscent of the setup on the Huawei P30. The three camera sensors are slightly elevated off of an otherwise-flat back. The phone is expected to have a 16-megapixel super-wide-angle camera alongside a 12-megapixel telephoto alternative that will support 2x optical zoom, much like the Galaxy S10+.
Other rumoured features of the Galaxy Note 10 include 6.28- and 6.75-inch screen sizes as well as 4G LTE and 5G versions, which means we could be getting a total of four Note 10 models. That would be a big change from previous Galaxy Note phones, which are typically only available in one model.
Rumours have also said that the Note 10 could have a 4500mAh battery, and it’s possible that Samsung could get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Note 10, which would be another big change from previous Galaxy flagships.
