Sonos’ App is Currently Unavailable on iPhone and Mac App Stores

LG to Serve as Secondary OLED Supplier to Apple’s 2019 iPhone Lineup: Report
LG could be supplying a number of OLED displays for this year’s iPhone lineup.
According to a new report from MacRumors, Barclays analysts claim that Korean company LG will likely be a supplier for Apple’s 2019 iPhone lineup, with Chinese display manufacturer BOE to follow as early as 2020.
If this is indeed the case, LG would serve as a secondary display supplier after Samsung, which is widely expected to provide the large majority of OLED displays for this year’s iPhone lineup. Samsung holds the large majority of the OLED display market share at over 90 percent.
“Apple aims to diversify its supply chain as much as possible, often securing at least two suppliers for any given component, a strategy that reduces its supply chain risk and improves its negotiating position,” explains the report.
Apple is expected to launch three different iPhone models this year, all successors to the 2018 lineup. The 2019 iPhone generation will be the last one to include an LCD version, as Apple will make the full switch to OLED beginning with the 2020 series.
