iOS 13.1 Beta 4 Download Released for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max

Apple has released iOS 13.1 beta 4 for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, now allowing developers to run the latest beta on their new iPhones arriving tomorrow.

The iOS 13.1 beta 4 update for these 2019 iPhones is available only as an over-the-air update, and not as a standalone download in the developer portal.

Why is this important? There was some concern among developers about setting up their new 2019 iPhones with iOS 13.1 beta, as no versions were available for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, until today. Imagine unboxing your new iPhone and not being able to restore from backup, because the latter was on iOS 13.1 beta, which wasn’t supported for new models.

Alas, Apple’s release of iOS 13.1 beta 4 for new iPhone 11 models means developers and other beta testers can rest assured.

Apple this morning also announced it will be releasing iPadOS on September 24, instead of September 30.
