For the first time, Tesla has shared an official look at its Crash Lab in a YouTube video, that shows how the company tests out its vehicles to get them ready in case an accident happens, and how it helps the company develop designs that have highest safety ratings.

Tesla’s Model 3 has already earned a 5-star safety rating in every category and sub-category from safety authorities in North America, Europe, and Australia. The vehicle has also received top marks around the world for its advanced safety assistance features like Automatic Emergency Braking.
Last month, the Model 3 earned IIHS Top Safety Pick+, the highest possible safety award given by the organization.
