A new image extracted from the release version of macOS 10.15.1 seems to have revealed the upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro’s keyboard layout, showing a dedicated power / Touch ID key on one side of the Touch Bar’s screen at the top right of the keyboard (via 9to5Mac).

The aforementioned icon has been removed from the release build of macOS Catalina 10.15.1, which could suggest the release date is not in October as some rumors were suggesting. Regardless, it’s very clear from the recent leaks from Apple that the machine won’t be a significant redesign as many were hoping for.

The leaked image (shown above) confirms previous reports that claimed Apple’s upcoming MacBook Pro will sport a real escape key instead of the software one as found on the current Touch Bar MacBook models.

The upcoming notebook is believed to ship with Intel Coffee Lake-H Refresh processors and sport narrower bezels in order to allow the 16-inch display to fit in a notebook with a similar physical size as the current 15-inch model.
