The Disney+ streaming service launches on November 12, 2019, in Canada. It will include exclusive content from the Disney library, along with content from Pixar, Marvel, the Star Wars franchise and National Geographic, to go with 30 seasons of The Simpsons.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to sign up for and watch Disney+ in Canada, which is expected to be very popular given the value of its content. Disney+ will be the exclusive home of Disney content and once existing deals with other streaming services expire worldwide, you will only be able to stream Disney shows and movies on its own service.
The launch date for Disney+ in Canada, the U.S. and the Netherlands will be on Tuesday, November 12 at 3 AM PT/6 AM ET, according to the countdown timer on the Disney Plus website.
You’ll be able to download shows for offline viewing on up to 10 devices. You’ll be able to watch simultaneously on four devices, with select titles available in 4K UHD and HDR, plus Dolby Atmos support.
Disney+ will be priced at $8.99 CAD per month in Canada, or $89.99 CAD per year. There is a free 7-day trial available.

Disney+ will be powered by Machine Learning generated recommendations, along with human-curated collections.
Users in Australia and New Zealand will get Disney+ on November 19. The UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Ireland will see a March 31 launch in 2020.
