Starbucks is set to open its first Canadian mobile pickup store, the first in Canada and only second in the world. The new location will be at Toronto’s Commerce Court (25 King Street West) in Ontario and open on February 4, 2020.

“This unique location was designed for an order-ahead experience,” says Michael Conway, president of Starbucks Canada, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. “Customers who Mobile Order & Pay with their Starbucks Rewards app will know exactly when their order is ready (thanks to a digital board that displays order status) and can pick up their handcrafted beverage and food items directly from a Starbucks barista.”

Starbucks customers just place mobile orders as normal and select PICKUP – Commerce Court as their pickup location.

The dedicated pickup store has a smaller footprint with no seating but has a full beverage and food menu from a traditional Starbucks location. Pickup will be available from Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm.

The other dedicated Starbucks pickup location in the world is in New York City’s Penn Plaza.
