Late last month, Telus-owned Koodo lowered starting plans for its Tab Large and Tab Extra Large plans to to $55 per month, a $20 drop.
Now, Koodo has again lowered starting plans for these same tabs, down to $45 per month, another $10 drop. That’s a $30/month drop for these minimum required plans in less than two weeks.
The Tab Large ($480 loan upfront) and Tab Extra Large ($720 loan upfront) plans are now as follows:
- $45/1GB
- $50/2GB
- $55/4GB
- $60/5GB
- $65/7GB
- $75/10GB
In Quebec, it’s now starting at $35 with 2GB data for Tab Large and Tab Extra Large plans.
The Koodo Tab system means you pay off your upfront loans in 24 equal payments, on top of your monthly phone plan.
So for example, an iPhone 11 Pro is $615 on a Tab Extra Large plan. You’ll pay $615 upfront, then choose one of the plans above. Your Tab Extra Large of $720 will be repaid at $30 per month, for 24 months, on top of your minimum voice plan, now starting at $45 per month.
All Tab plans include unlimited Canada-wide minutes and messaging.
