After releasing iOS 14.2 beta and others last week, Apple has released the eighth beta of macOS Big Sur 11, build 20A5374i.

According to the beta’s release notes, Apple says it has resolved “an issue with the kernel no longer causes applications to quit unexpectedly,” among other fixes.

Developers can download macOS Big Sur 11 beta 8 over-the-air or via the developer centre. An equivalent version for public beta testers has yet to be made available for download.

Apple should be releasing the final version of macOS Big Sur 11 soon, and most likely make an announcement when it debuts its anticipated ‘iPhone 12’ lineup, said to be coming in October.
