2020 ‘iPhone 12 Mini’ Could Be Coming Claims Leaker

Apple is rumoured to launch four iPhone 12 models this fall, with display sizes ranging from 5.4-inches, 6.1-inches and 6.7-inches.

Now, according to anonymous leaker @L0vetodream, Apple’s smallest iPhone 12 could be called the ‘iPhone 12 mini’, sharing a tweet early this morning with the following names:

12mini
12
12 Pro
12 Pro Max

The ‘mini’ moniker hasn’t been used by Apple for the iPhone before, as it’s been widely used for the iPod, Mac and iPad over the years. But it’s natural for Apple to continue with iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro naming schemes for 2020, like last year.

It’s presumed the 5.4-inch model would be the iPhone 12 Mini, while 6.1-inch models would be the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, while 6.7-inches would be for the most expensive iPhone 12 Max.

The leaker has been fairly accurate this year in detailing Apple’s new all-screen iPad Air and also how the Magic Keyboard would be available for iPads beyond the iPad Pro. The user also accurately claimed a new colour was coming for Apple Watch (we saw blue and red). You can see his track record history here on AppleTrack.

Recently, @L0vetodream has claimed Apple’s upcoming ‘AirPods Studio’ wireless headphones would include a U1 chip for Ultra Wideband, while back in July, he claimed iPhone 12 would include 6GB of RAM.
