Telus Offers $120 Bill Credit to Public Mobile Customers If They Switch Over

Telus has launched a promo for customers of its prepaid subsidiary, Public Mobile, to switch over to the company’s postpaid plans.
Public Mobile detailed the Telus promo on Thursday afternoon, saying, “We recognize that sometimes our customers’ needs may change, whether you need more data or even a new phone.”
“That’s why, today we’re pleased to let our Community know that our friends at TELUS are offering a great deal exclusive for Public Mobile customers!”, explained Public Mobile.
“Launching today and available until November 18th, 2020, 11:59PM EST, Public Mobile customers are eligible for a $120 bill credit when they call in and switch to any TELUS Peace of Mind plan,” said Public Mobile.
The promo says those switching over will get a $60 bill credit applied for two months, when signing up for any Telus Peace of Mind plan, which offers no data overages.
Public Mobile customers reacted negatively to the offer shared in the company’s forums, saying they weren’t interested in making the switch.
Those looking to make the switch need to call 1-877-689-8430 and speak with Telus to change over from Public Mobile.
