Public Mobile has announced its $40 plan with 4GB is getting a 500MB data increase starting today, bumping it up to 4.5GB total.
“Starting November 10, 2020, we are adding 500MB of data to our current $40 for 4GB plan, turning it into the $40 for 4.5GB plan!” explained the Telus-owned prepaid brand.
The plan includes unlimited nationwide talk and international text. The 4.5GB data is at 3G speeds and for those signing up with auto-pay (pre-authorized credit card payments), you’ll get an extra 500MB bonus, plus the usual $2 discount every 30 days, dropping the plan to $38.
This new plan comes as Bell’s prepaid brand, Lucky Mobile, also has a similar $40/4.5GB plan right now, but it bumps up to 5GB if you register for automatic top-up. Good ol’ competition, I tell ya…
