What’s New in iOS 14.3 Beta: Apple ProRAW and More [VIDEO]
Apple released iOS 14.3 beta yesterday for developers and Zollotech has shared a video detailing what’s new in this latest update.
Inside this update is Apple ProRAW for iPhone 12 Pro models to further edit photos in RAW format, similar to what you’d find on a digital SLR or mirrorless camera. It needs to be enabled in Settings > Camera > Formats > Apple ProRAW.
Apple said at its iPhone 12 event this new photo format would be coming later in a software update and now we’re seeing it in iOS 14.3 beta for the first time.
Within the Health app, there is a new pregnancy section. Also, new cardio fitness notifications are coming to Apple Watch. As for updates in the Home app, you’ll be able to update devices right within the Home app.
iOS 14.3 also now lets the camera scan App Clip codes, while Air Quality data is being added to the weather app for those in the U.S., UK, Germany, India, Mexico and China. Also new is support for PS5 controllers and the Luna Amazon controller for iPhone.
Also back on older devices such as iPhone 8 Plus, is the ‘Mirror Front Camera’ feature in Camera settings.
As covered yesterday, iOS 14.3 also shared more information on AirTags and rumoured AirPods Studio.
