‘AirPods Studio’ Headphone Design Leaks in iOS 14.3 Beta

As with any new iOS beta release, code sleuths quickly dive into the beta to find hints at upcoming features and unreleased products.

Now, it appears the rumoured AirPods Studio design is indeed real, according to today’s iOS 14.3 beta (it’s back again!). 9to5Mac says it “found a new icon added to the internal system files that are potential illustrations of Apple’s upcoming AirPods Studio headphone”.

The rumoured design found within iOS 14.3 resembles the apparent leak from September, shared by Jon Prosser, seen below:

9to5Mac previously cited AirPods Studio will with automatic ear detection, allowing wearers of the headphones to put them on in any orientation.

It’s unclear if Apple will still make another product announcement, now that its Apple Silicon Mac computers were announced on Tuesday and are set to launch next week. Seriously, our wallets can’t take any more abuse.
