Telus-owned Koodo is apparently offering a $50/14GB ‘winback’ plan to former customers, which includes 1,000 long distance minutes.
According to RFD user ‘timbertick’, the user shared a call that was received yesterday from the Koodo ‘winback’ team. Winback offers are sweetheart deals to lure back former customers.
In this case, a $50/14GB plan was offered with unlimited Canada-wide minutes, unlimited global text plus 1,000 in long distance minutes to select international destinations.
The user is currently a Virgin Mobile customer on the latter’s $40/6GB plan and did not jump on the Koodo offer, which required him to call 1-866 264 2964 to get it.
Winback offers aren’t available for everyone, but those targeted can get some promotional plans unlike what’s currently available to new customers.
