According to RFD member ‘xoy74’, a Koodo customer in Ontario, they received a call from the wireless carrier, offering a $35 plan with 5GB data for an additional line. “They offered basically 5GB data, unlimited Canada-wide calling and unlimited texting for $35/month on a BYOD plan,” said the user.
It appears this plan may be Koodo’s current $45/5GB plan with a $10/month discount for 24 months.
“I didn’t take the offer because my wife’s on Public Mobile with some nice discounts, but if anyone’s interested, maybe you can call and quote this,” said the user, referencing the number 1-866-448-8030.
The add-a-line plan with unlimited Canada-wide calling at $35/5GB is not bad, and may be worth checking out if you need a second line with some data.
