The annual I/O developer conference will be live, online-only and free for everyone to attend. Google CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed the dates earlier this morning.
Last year, the 2020 I/O event was cancelled altogether due to COVID-19, despite an attempt to move it to an online-only event.
Like Apple’s WWDC, Google will share its latest Android operating system for smartphones and other software advances it has ready for developers to implement.
