Costco warehouses have the first-generation Apple TV 4K on clearance right now, with the 64GB model slashed to $149.97. When a product gets a price ending in “.97” that means it’s considered clearance at Costco.
The Apple TV 4K (first-gen) is no longer available on Apple.ca or Amazon.ca, but existing stock can be found at some retailers. This is the Apple TV 4K with the Siri Remote that people love to hate, as its design makes it next to impossible to figure out its orientation.
Refurbished Apple TV 4K (first-gen) units on Apple.ca are selling from $189 CAD for the 32GB and $209 CAD for the 64GB model. So this $149.97 clearance price from Costco is not a bad deal, if you’re looking for an older Apple TV 4K that can support all the major streaming apps, and support Apple Fitness+.
The newer 2021 Apple TV 4K starts at $229 for a 32GB model with updated Siri Remote.
Your best bet is to call your local warehouse and press “1” for the administrative department, then ask if item number ‘4005064’ is in stock or not. We checked with our local warehouse in Victoria (Langford) and there is no stock, as the the first-gen Apple TV 4K is “pending delete”. Other stores, such as the one in Richmond, B.C., had only 1-2 units remaining.
