Amazon today launched its own line of 4K televisions, available in Canada, but also debuted a new Fire TV Stick 4K Max as well.

This new Fire TV stick supports 4K UHD, HDR, HDR10, and HDR10+ streaming, as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

You get the latest Alexa Voice Remote and this is the first Fire TV stick to feature Live View Picture-in-Picture. You can also wirelessly connect Echo Studio or a pair of Echo (4th Gen) smart speakers to the Fire TV Stick 4K Max as well (just like the Fire TV Omni and 4-Series).

Also new is next-generation Wi-Fi 6 support, while using the latest Mediatek MT7921LS Wi-Fi 6 Chipset for smoother 4K streaming and gaming.

The new streaming stick also has new Alexa voice features, 40% more power than Fire TV Stick 4K, a new quad-core 1.8GHz processer, and 2GB of RAM, for faster app launches and navigation.

Amazon says Fire TV Stick 4K Max is their first streaming media player to debut with ENERGY STAR Certification, while the packaging is made of 97% wood fibre-based materials from responsibly managed forests or recycled sources.

Click here to pre-order the Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $74.99—it launches on October 7, 2021.
