Apple’s new iPhone Duo is already sold out for launch-day delivery in Canada, with online pre-orders now showing February 2027 as the next available delivery date across all storage sizes.
Pre-orders opened Friday morning at 5 a.m. Pacific, but Canadians who didn’t manage to secure an early order are now facing a wait of four months.
A check of Apple’s Canadian online store shows February 2027 delivery estimates for all four storage options, including 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB.
For customers hoping to pick one up at an Apple Store, the situation isn’t much clearer. Apple’s website currently displays the message “Check back for availability on 10.24,” pointing to October 24 for another chance to check in-store pickup options.
The iPhone Duo officially launches in Canada on October 23, with prices starting at $2,999 CAD for the 256GB model. The 512GB version costs $3,299, while the 1TB and 2TB models cost $3,899 and $4,799, respectively.
The shipping delays suggest strong early demand for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, although it’s unclear how much inventory Apple had available for launch. We know estimated delivery dates usually improve, but to see February 2027 right now? That’s pretty wild to have Apple hold onto at least $3,000 for one-quarter of the year.
It’s also worth noting that delivery estimates can change as Apple receives more inventory or additional stock becomes available.
Canadians can still place an iPhone Duo pre-order through Apple’s website or the Apple Store app, but for now, new online orders aren’t expected to arrive until next year.

Kicking myself! I missed my reminder and ordered 20 mins late, delivery in early December. Better than 2027 I guess!
Order was placed at 8:04am and on order page showed November 3. When I received email it was November 10 LOL. Not so bad….will see how it goes.
App didn’t launch until 5:04am for me. Already had my order prepared but took me a minute to purchase while looking for in store pickup. Confirmation email arrived at 5:06am and my delivery date had slipped to Nov. 3 – Dec. 8. Have yet to be charged.
