If you’re an Amazon Prime customer, you may be eligible to receive a $12 credit for backing up your photos to the Amazon Photos service.
Prime offers unlimited full-resolution photo storage and this landing page says “get a $12 Amazon credit when you back up your photos with Amazon Photos.”
The fine print says it’s a “limited-time offer for customers who meet the eligibility criteria for this promotion.”
In our testing of the link, it said we were not eligible. Amazon says it is for eligible Prime customers “who upload at least one photo through the Amazon Photos app for the first time.”
Amazon says this offer expires at 11:59 p.m. PDT on September 30, 2021. It seems to be quite limited in its scope but it may be worth a try if you’ve been considering Amazon Photos as a back up service (especially now that Google Photos has ended its free unlimited storage option). Again, your photos will be uploaded to Amazon’s servers so privacy definitely is an issue.
You can click here to see if you’re eligible for $12 in Amazon credit.
