Twitter explains that pinned conversations enable users to keep their favourite DMS at the top of their screen on iOS. By swiping right on the DM, a user may pin it. Additionally, Twitter is expanding the length of video uploads on desktops. Now, users can upload and tweet videos of up to 10 minutes. This is a large expansion from the previous two-minute and 20-second cap Twitter previously had.
There’s no word on how long a Labs feature will remain a part of the premium subscription. It’s assumed that as Twitter continues to test the new features, they’ll remain locked as a Twitter Blue feature until it’s ready for a wide release.
Currently, Twitter Blue’s Labs is only available in Canada and Australia. The company notes that we’ll see “more countries coming soon.”
The Twitter Blue subscription service was first introduced in June of this year. It costs $3.49 per month and gives subscribers access to premium features like Undo Tweet, Reader Mode, and Bookmark Folders.
