Apple Discontinues Three Beats Headphones Following Beats Fit Pro Launch

Shortly after launching the new Beats Fit Pro wireless earbuds on Monday, Apple discontinued three older Beats earbuds/headphones: the Powerbeats high-performance wireless earphones, the more premium Beats Solo Pro, and the Beats EP on-ear headphones — reports MacRumors.

All three Beats models were listed on the Apple Store prior to the Beats Fit Pro launch, but links to each of them now return a warning that the product is no longer available for purchase.

After references to them were spotted in an iOS 15.1 Release Candidate (RC) build last month, Apple finally announced the Beats Fit Pro in a short presentation on Monday.

Alongside the new Beats Fit Pro, Apple also introduced temporary price drops ranging from $20-50 USD for a number of older Beats options, including the Beats Flex, Beats Studio Buds, and the Power Beats Pro.

You can currently order the following Beats products from Apple.ca:

  • Beats Studio Buds
  • Powerbeats Pro
  • Beats Pro Over-Ear Headphones
  • Beats Flex
  • Beats Studio3
  • Beats Solo3
  • Beats Pill+

Note: The Beats Fit Pro are currently not available in Canada, but a Canadian launch should be expected soon.
