Bell is trying to lure in some of its internet customers with a special $65/30GB ‘unlimited’ data plan, which offers savings of $15 per month, according to the company.
The ‘exclusive’ offer was sent via snail mail to an iPhone in Canada reader, attached with a 5G LTE SIM card as well. The Bell customer is only on the company’s fibre internet, but has a wireless plan with Telus.
“You already enjoy blazing-fast Bell internet at home. Now you can stay connected on the go at blazing-fast speeds on Canada’s best mobile network,” explains the letter. “And to make it easy, we’re including a complimentary SIM card,” says Bell.
The one-time offer says it expires on November 19, 2021, and a unique promo code is attached to the letter to use during activation by telephone.
“You don’t even need to worry about canceling with your current carrier,” says Bell. “We’ll do it for you.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Bell mail a special offer out to prospective customers. Last year, we saw the company send a mailer promo through its flanker brand, Virgin Mobile.
