LG previously announced the 2022 TV lineup. Though, the company did spotlight a few models including the new LG OLED evo Gallery Edition, a display that offers modern design conventions with thinner bezels and a 50-percent lighter design. The new model in LG’s C-series, the C2 has also been revealed. LG’s OLED evo technology will also be available on select C2 models with higher brightness and clarity in the picture quality. LG’s TVs will also feature the LG Fitness platform, rivalling Apple Fitness+. Players can even tap into Nvidia’s GeForce Now through the LG webOS ecosystem.

The LG ThinQ app has been improved to enable users ease of use and tailored customization options based on daily needs. When utilized for the aforementioned LG PuriCare, LG Washer and Dryer or other appliances, users can create routines and turn appliances on or off. LG even showed how users can use the iOS and Android app to move on-display content from the living room to the kitchen, like a recipe, using the Room-to-Room Share feature. The company is also launching LG ThinQ Recipe, a one-stop-shop with over 10,000 shippable recipes directly within the LG ThinQ app. LG has partnered with Amazon and Walmart for order fulfillment.

LG took time to discuss accessibility and what it will be doing to improve its products in the near future. Braille overlays will be featured on a number of LG devices moving forward. LG is investing in the Accessibility Advisory Councils across different markets to bring more inclusive features to its devices and strengthen its voice commands.

The company also discussed sustainability. LG is committing to reduce 50-percent of its carbon emissions by 2030 and improve its recyclable packaging during this time as well. From a consumer standpoint, LG’s InstaView refrigerator will have a transparent door that users can see through by knocking twice. This is developed to reduce the energy used when opening the fridge door.
