Bell Expanding Pure Fibre Internet to Over 25 Communities in New Brunswick This Year

Bell announced on Tuesday its pure fibre internet is set to expand to over 25 communities in New Brunswick this year, set to reach over 20,000 locations in 2022.

The expansion program is funded by Bell’s capital expenditure acceleration program and will bring 100% fibre connections with download speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps.

Bell pure fibre internet is already available in 7,200 locations in the communities of Hampton (including Darlings Island), Lamèque, Miscou, Memramcook, Saint-Louis-de-Kent and Scoudouc; an extra 1,600 locations are coming soon to the Kingston Peninsula.

By the end of 2022, the following communities will have Bell pure fibre internet: Charters Settlement, Hartland, Keswick, Mazerolle Settlement, Nasonworth, Perth-Andover, Petitcodiac, Plaster Rock, Rivière-Verte, Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, Saint-Léonard, Shediac Bridge and Tracadie (including Four Roads, Losier Settlement, Pontgrave, Pont-Lafrance, Pont-Landry, Robertson Brook Road, Sainte-Rose, Six Roads and Val-Comeau).

When pure fibre internet is available, Bell says it will notify residents, while addresses with availability will also show on the Bell Aliant website.
