How to Use the ‘Check In Message’ Shortcut on iPhone or iPad [VIDEO]

Apple has just published another handy little video on its official YouTube support channel, detailing how you can check in with friends, family, or a caregiver and let them know your stress and energy levels fast with the ‘Check In Message’ shortcut.

‘Check In Message’ is a shortcut that can help you update a trusted contact about your stress level. This shortcut is available in the accessibility collection of the Shortcuts app.

After you set up accessibility features, you can quickly turn them on or off by either triple-clicking the side button or triple-clicking the Home button on older iPhones and iPads.

You can also add accessibility features to Control Center and then activate them from there.

  • Go to Settings > Control Center, then tap the Insert button next to the accessibility features you use the most.
  • To activate the feature from Control Center, open Control Center, then tap the control.
