Industrial designer Peter Riering-Czekalla has joined Apple leaving his former position as Design Director of Molekule, a startup that sells high-end air purifiers, Philip Elmer-DeWitt reports.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Riering-Czekalla joined Apple’s Industrial Design Team nearly two months ago. In addition to developing groundbreaking new air purifier technology at Molekule, Riering-Czekalla is credited with creating human-centered design strategies for Samsung, Nike, Microsoft, and IDEO.
