Did you participate in the gong show known as Apple’s iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro pre-orders on Friday morning? The Apple Store went online later than expected, and when it did, it only worked for a minute or two, before the checkout process got overwhelmed. Paybright financing customers had yet another headache this year as applications stalled on the website.
But for the trigger fingers out there that managed to snag an iPhone 14 Pro pre-order for launch day (like yours truly), the first orders have now reached the ‘Preparing to Ship’ phase.
Our iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB in the colour Deep Purple (did you think we’d get any other colour?) moved to the ‘Preparing to Ship’ phase this morning, and so did other orders as many of you let us know. That’s a pretty quick transition to this next phase of delivery. It’s slated to deliver on launch day, Friday, September 16.
Last year, iPhone 13 line up pre-orders took place on Friday, September 17. They didn’t reach the ‘Preparing to Ship’ phase until five days later on Wednesday, September 22.
As of writing, it’s not possible to obtain your UPS tracking number just yet (by entering your phone number under the ‘reference’ option), but expect that to happen later next week either on Wednesday or late Thursday.

Both Edmonton apple stores finally went live for in store pickup this morning. Was checking every 30 minutes all day yesterday and earlier this morning. Got one With paybrights financing reserved for pickup on the 16th. My streak of launch day iPhones will remain intact all the way back to the iPhone 3G. Lol
nice! it’s hard to break the streak…which has become an unnecessary evil on our wallets…Lol

I have a Sept 16 arrival, but hasn’t moved to preparing to ship yet. My watch moved to that a day or two ago. Still no pickup available in any Toronto area Apple stores.
My iPhone is being ship to my local Apple Store. So I don’t see that message. It only says “ processing“ UPS always sends packages end of the day (around 4:30pm) so I always pick it up the morning of launch day 👍
My iphone 14 pro is also being delivered to my local Apple store on September 16.
yup am with bell and i did my pre-order in bell store and everything am
waiting for the iphone 14 pro max 512gb and the shipping started on the
16th and i have already waited for a week for my pre-order and i called
bell and they told me that the bigger size phones would take longer to
get in between 4 to 5 weeks until getting your phone and apple stores
for there ppl would need to wait until between oct 7 and the 16th what i
is bs in my point of view
