Apple Reveals New Apple Arcade Arrivals for April 2023

Apple has announced a lineup of new exclusive Apple Arcade Originals set to debut on the service this month.

In April, Apple Arcade subscribers will get the chance to jump into a collection of new games and exciting updates. Apple Arcade is the company’s monthly $5.99 gaming subscription. Each month, subscribers gain access to a growing catalogue of titles to download and play. Apple Arcade and its games are available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.

Doctor Who: An Unlikely Heist (Tilting Point) Launches April 7

Doctor Who: An Unlikely Heist arrives ahead of the franchises official 60th anniversary celebration. Players must find hidden objects within the Doctor Who universe and help he Thirteenth Doctor and her companion Yasmine Khan save time. The game’s graphics blend hyper-realistic and a more cartoon style. Plus, Doctor Who: An Unlikely Heist offers mini-games, and events to keep players on their toes.

Summon Quest (Team17 USA) Launches April 21

Summon Quest sees players take on the role of a powerful summoner. In Summon Quest, players must close a rift that is unleashing hordes of monters onto the world. To save the world and close the rift, you’ll be tasked to explore and fight trhrough varius regions. Each area of the game offers unique enemies, challenges, and boss encounters.

Cornsweeper (wbuttr) Launches April 28

Cornsweeper is described as a chill and whimsical reimagining of Minesweeper. It’s said to be a meditative “mind-sweep-em-up.” Players must pop popcorn while avoiding explosions. All the while, the game is set to the chill tunes of an original lo-fi-inspired soundtrack. The music is influenced by lone Jamaican developer wbuttr’s cultural heritage.

Grand Mountain Adventure+ (ToppLuva AB) Launches April 28

Grand Mountain Adventure+ is an open-world skiing and snowboarding game. Players will have the chance to drop into the backcountry and freeride down steep slopes, slalom tracks, and attempt perfect runs through the park. Alternatively, Grand Mountain Adventure+ grants the chance to also simply explore. The game supports up to 16 players in multiplayer.
