Telus’ Public Mobile is Seeking Beta Testers
Telus-owned Public Mobile announced last week it is seeking beta testers for its plans and products.
“As many of you know we’re always looking for feedback from our Community, especially when it comes to our plans and products. As a part of doing things differently, we’re selecting a handful of users to participate in a product testing opportunity to help us collect value feedback on our latest product enhancements,” said Public Mobile.
Public Mobile then linked to a Google Forms page for signing up, and as of writing is no longer accepting submissions. Those who want to participate need to have an active Public Mobile account and access to the internet on a smartphone or desktop.
The company did not mention any benefits or compensation for beta testers. Public Mobile said “only a handful” will be contacted to beta test things.
“We’ll use this feedback to help us fine-tune and polish the product to give our customers the best user experience,” said Public Mobile.

Oh man, if they want me to test their wifi calling for them I’ll switch over to them right now. Public mobile has such a good base right now… (no connection fee, no eSIM fee, easy eSIM activation via app)… they’re so close to being exceptional… and many of the features they are missing are supported by Telus… so it’s not like they don’t know how or don’t have infrastructure yet.
I can’t believe how much better they do these things THAN Telus… let’s go already!
Yeah, I had to switch out Public because I have no access to stable 4G/LTE. Only 1 bar and my calls are getting cut off at home.
Hoping they get Wifi Calling.
