Google I/O Developer Conference Set for May 14
Google has announced its annual developer conference will take place in May of this year.
The company launched a “break the loop” puzzle to let people guess when its I/O conference would take place and it has been revealed for May 14, 2024, taking place from its Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.
Developers can register today for Google I/O today. It’s likely we’ll see more news about Android 15 and hardware updates such as from the company’s Pixel smartphones.

Last year’s conference saw Google unveil its Pixel Fold smartphone, along with its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. We also saw the Pixel Tablet unveiled as well. Maybe we might see the Pixel Fold expand to Canada with its rumoured second-generation update?
Of course, Google’s updates in May will come ahead of Apple’s own developer conference WWDC, typically slated sometime in June.
