Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event Announced For July 10th, Highlighting Galaxy AI

Samsung has announced that it will be hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event next month. On July 10th at 9 AM ET/6 AM PT, Samsung will host an event in Paris, offering a look at new Galaxy AI innovations and how they’ll play into the new Z series devices.
In a press release, Samsung states, “Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem.” Of course, many have been expecting this Galaxy Unpacked to be the event in which Samsung reveals its new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Earlier reports even narrowed down the event’s date.
Alongside the press release, Samsung launched a short teaser video. Aside from some imagery drawing back to Galaxy AI and the date of the Unpacked, there are unfortunately not too many takeaways here.
Given that Samsung is likely to leverage Galaxy AI for its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, consumers can probably expect to hear about which AI features will be offered including Live Translate, Circle to Search, Transcript, Note Assist, etc. However, Samsung may opt to introduce new Galaxy AI features tailor-made for its foldable units.
As earlier reports indicate, Galaxy Unpacked may also be the event where the company details the new Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds 3 wireless buds. The Galaxy Ring in particular is an interesting one as there are still many details yet to be announced. A report from Yogesh Brar earlier this year claimed Galaxy Watch may launch for around $300 to $350 USD (roughly $410 – $479 CAD).
Galaxy Unpacked will be taking place in Paris ahead of the Pario Olympics, where Samsung is an official sponsor. The event will also be livestreamed across the company’s website, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s YouTube channel.
