DJI Teasing E-Bike Reveal on July 3

DJI, the company behind the widely adopted drones, vlog cameras, and microphones, may be getting ready to launch its first e-bike.
Ahead of Germany’s Eurobike festival this month, DJI may be pulling the curtain back on its ‘Amflow’ bikes. On Instagram, the company posted a teaser under its official handle as well as the Amflow Bikes account. The short video shows a DJI Avinox mid-drive motor, as first reported by Electrek. ‘Power Your Ride’ reads the caption, teasing a reveal on July 3rd at 3 AM ET/12 AM PT.
Unfortunately, aside from the post, there’s not much else to go off of. The adjacent images on the Amflow Bikes account don’t show the e-bike’s frame. That being said, knowing DJI’s involvement in developing drones, it’s expected that they’ll sport some cutting-edge designs.
DJI is best known for its DJI Mini drone. It also supports larger ones like the Mavic and Avata models. Aside from drones, DJI is also a leader in cameras and rigs. Vloggers and content creators are commonly seen using the Osmo Pocket camera or the Ronin Stabilizer for taking videos with their iPhone or Android devices. DJI also supports wireless microphones, batteries, and a ton of other peripherals and accessories.
With the Eurobike festival around the corner, it’s a great time for DJI to reveal its plans to get into the e-bike market. The e-bike sector has been rapidly growing in North America and has already seen a boom in Europe and other global markets.
