Nintendo Hosting ‘Mario & Friends’ Interactive Experience Across Canada This Summer

Over the summer months, Nintendo is hosting a series of interactive experiences across Canada. Dubbed ‘Mario & Friends: The Summer Quest,’ families and players have the chance to test out demos of some of Nintendo’s biggest games of the year.

Nintendo’s Mario & Friends: The Summer Quest will be popping up in three cities throughout July and August. Coinciding with local festivals and exhibitions, Nintendo will offer Canadians a chance to play games, meet and greet iconic characters, take part in photo ops, and have a chance to win some giveaways.

“Families are invited to experience the fun and adventures of the Nintendo Switch system and its beloved Mushroom Kingdom characters at select spots across the country this summer,” Nintendo of Canada states.

Four of the playable games available during the Mario & Friends: The Summer Quest experience are Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Princess Peach: Showtime!, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. 

Onto of playing some great Nintendo games on Switch, families can also take part in what sounds like a scavenger hunt of sorts. “Explore the magical worlds and characters of the Mushroom Kingdom with a twist. Upon arrival, you’ll be challenged to recover something Bowser has swiped – so keep your eyes peeled for clues!

Vibrant Brampton Festival (July 26-27)

Nintendo notes that while an admission fee for some locations will be in place, there is no additional charge for participating in the Mario & Friends: The Summer Quest event.
