Amazon Deal: Koodo $20/75GB Prepaid Plan with US Calling for 30 Days [Update]

If you’re looking to switch to Koodo, there’s a prepaid deal available on Amazon.ca right now, through Quebec-based reseller Grab & Go Plus.
The offer is a $40/75GB 4G LTE prepaid plan plus SIM card starter kit, for 30 days. But this combo is available for $20 on Amazon.ca, which is 50% off the plan price for the first month.
UPDATE: Looks like the reseller has increased the price to $30 on Amazon.ca.
After the first month, you can choose to top up the plan for $40 and still retain the 75GB of Canada-wide data and talk, plus U.S. calling (from Canada). That’s decent considering right now Koodo’s website only has a $49/60GB postpaid plan (that doesn’t include US calling from Canada).
There are some caveats. Your Koodo plan starts when you receive your order (or the future date you pick), while you’ll also get to pick a local number or transfer your existing number from any Canadian wireless carrier. You won’t be able to transfer from Koodo, however.
This prepaid package for $20 would be a decent offering if you have relatives or friends coming to Canada that need a cellphone plan, notes RFD.
Still, at the end of the day a $34/50GB 5G Canada-US plan from either Public Mobile or Freedom Mobile postpaid is a better deal. But for $20 for one month if you need a cellphone plan with data for prepaid? Not bad at all.

I'm seeing $30 for the plan when I follow your link. Also, there is a restriction on the US calling feature: "UNLIMITED USA CALLING MEANS CALLING THE USA FROM CANADA (SIM WILL NOT WORK IN THE US)."
Looks the reseller just upped the price to $30…that was quick. Noted about the US calling already in the post.
