Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max launch today, and California-based Nomad sent us a selection of its latest cases to check out.
Apple kept the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro dimensions the same this year, so existing iPhone 17 Pro cases should still fit. But for anyone upgrading from an older iPhone, Nomad has several premium options. And by premium, we mean these definitely aren’t cheap. These are luxury cases at these price points.

The new Rugged Case stands out with its Baja California-inspired topographic design and thick protective bumper.
The Rugged Leather Case adds a Rustic Brown leather back, while the Modern Leather Case has a cleaner, slimmer look. We also checked out the Burgundy Chromexcel Horween Limited Edition, which has a richer leather finish, along with the Clear Leather Case in Saddle, which combines a transparent shell with a leather panel and looks pretty slick.
As usual, Nomad’s leather feels great right out of the box and has that fresh leather smell. These aren’t cheap cases for Canadians looking to splurge, but they feel premium and should develop more character as the leather ages and builds up a patina. If you’re tired of a boring regular case, Nomad’s leather options definitely step things up and can be a conversation starter, although your wallet will feel it.
